I have recently returned from a Kiwi n Tiger tour in India with my Husband visiting Delhi, Agra, Rajasthan, Varanasi. ... We had an amazing time and saw many wonderful places and stayed in some great heritage properties which we prefer over Western style hotels, to experience the real India. Small group tours such as these also provide more flexibility and the chance to make unplanned stops at places of interest. We had Surendra as our driver and had local guides at each city/village. Surendra was an amazing driver and shared so much knowledge and history with us. He even included us in his family activities during the Holi Festival which was very special and a great memory. The last part of our tour to Varanasi could not proceed as flights, activities etc were cancelled due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Although disappointing, we feel very fortunate to have had Vishal and Surendra looking after us. Vishal was in constant contact with updates on the situation. We have since heard of people in India who were left stranded with no way out! They took care of everything for us including Surendra driving us all the way back from Udaipur to Delhi to get our flights home. We have just completed a 14 day Northern India tour with Kiwi n Tiger. We chose the 5 star option and this included... Christmas Eve at a Royal Hunting Lodge in Haveli and a New Years Eve Bollylicious gala event at a palace in Jodhpur. We have absorbed so much of the history of Northern India. Lots of visits to temples, palaces and forts. Each one of them unique and incredibly interesting. Vishal ensured we were taken care of every step of the way. David and I did the two weeks Rajasthan tour and then added on a week in Kerala South India as well in Oct, Nov 2019. Vishal runs his company with professionalism, passion and friendliness. It is very personalised. Emailed were answered promptly, the hotels were amazing, some beautiful heritage hotels, great food and of course amazing history to see. Everything was well organised and we packed so much into each day and yet we never felt rushed or hassled. After non stop action in Rajasthan with a great blend of city and country, leopards, camels, forts and palaces, with shopping too then the week at the end in Kerala beaches, houseboat and Periyer national park was was a slower paced fantastic compliment and so different, showing even more diversity of India. I have just returned from a trip to Rajasthan in India with Kiwintiger. When I saw the advert in the NZ Herald I was... dubious about the cost and thought it too good to be true. But after looking at the reviews decided to take the risk. I’m glad I did. There were four of us in the tour and each and everyone of us can not fault the time we spent in India with Vishal and his wonderful team. At no time did we feel unsafe. The guides we had were so informative and passionate about their country. They were amazing! Our driver Surendre and his side kick PK looked after us with such care, always there whenever we needed them. So patient with us. The traffic they had to drive through was organised chaos. We did not see or hear one scene of anger from anyone. The places we went to were so historical and quite beautiful. Even in the country side where ended up as there was an unexpected detour on the motorway. It took us through villages that we would never have seen otherwise. The real India! And real people! I want to thank Kiwi n tiger team. Me and mum visited India 21st Jan to 4th Feb. Tourist visa was arranged within 24... hours. We were welcome with gift and garland. I was amazed with their service😊. Great guides! Their kindness and their obligingness are exactly what one awaits from adventure guides. Me and mum felt safe and comfortable through out the journey. The tour was super, the selected sites and places were very beautiful. I explored New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, udaipur and Amritsar. Hotels and restaurants were excellent! really appreciated the team Mr Vishal and Dilip. We were well looked after by them. I highly recommend Kiwi N tiger. their service are too good. Well you have just gota go! India with Kiwi N Tiger is a mind blasting experience. Vishal Kulria and his superb driver... Surinder along with guides Raj 1,2,3,4, and Bouphol make touring a breeze. Their ability to organise everything was amazing. Awesome sights every day from “boom” straight into the back streets of Delhi to trekking up to the Amber Fort with over a hundred elephants, to drinking masala chai at an off-road stall. Vishal has managed to capture the feel of Rajasthan from the luxury hotels to the rural scruffy outback village kids lining up for a photo. The tour will get you to places that only astute local knowledge can, from haggling for items in a dusty crowded street to sitting in a leafy oasis restaurant just half an hour later. It would be a pity to spoil too many of the surprises, it’s best just to say we have no hesitation in recommending Kiwi N Tiger’s tour of Rajasthan which far exceeded all our expectations. Omg where do I start, this trip was the best trip I have had with this company. Vishal and his team really looked after... us, I felt like a prince 🤴 lol. Well i did felt like royalty, the way we were treated, was just the best. When it came to our hotels, transport, food, everything was perfect, so so good. As for the the sightseeing part, it was amazing, everything was planned out perfectly. Transport was super comfy with aircon, which you need in India, it can get hot. I’m already planning my next India trip in a couple of years with these guys, to see more of India. I highly recommend kiwi n Tiger, trust me, you won’t be disappointed. I went to India with an open mind.....well Kiwi n Tiger certainly opened my senses of sight,smell and perception on... India and in particular Rajasthan.In every city we had a local guide as well as our tour guide Visual which was invaluable for seeing the real India and it's people. We visited places like the Taj Mahal at Agra Old and New Delhi it's bazaars alleyways temple's food and history.Jaipur elephant ride and the Amber fort on to Jodpur a camel safari then Narlai village hunting lodge where we did and spotted a leopard after our high tea.In the Lakeland district of Udaipur we visited the city palace and cruised the beautiful lake Pichola.We rode tuc tics like the locals.All the hotels resorts where 5 star marble etc everywhere.l event eat Indian food now. Would you like to be wowed in India We did a trip to India Rajasthan with kiwi and tiger late September 2018 Vishal and... his team Surrender and Prabhat ,looked after the 8 off us like vips From the busy streets in old Delhi seeing the beautiful Taj Mahal dazzled by the pink and blue city’s . We saw Deserts and did safari high teas travelling to the country site and ended up at the city of lakes over a 12 day period . Kiwi and tiger were first class They hired local guides to give us a taste of the real India . October 2017 My family and I travelled with Kiwi n Tiger in India from 23rd Sept - 6th October 2017, we covered... Delhi/Varanasi/Agra/Jaipur/Pushkar/Jodphur/Narlai and Udaipur. We had always wanted to go to India so we had looked at it many times and the different ways it could be done, and as fairly experienced and independent travellers we decided India was one of those countries that could be extremely stressful to travel in, especially with a 10 and 13 year old. We also felt that the 14 days we had were going to be so precious we didn’t want to be stressed - we just wanted to absorb! We looked into lots of different tour options but the elements that were important to us were local knowledge, flexibility (as we can be quite particular!) and feeling like we could put our trust in our tour group. Kiwi’s hate to have the wool pulled over their eyes and it is particularly awkward when you don’t wholly trust the person looking after you. We came across Kiwi n Tiger and were apprehensive at first because they didn’t have a history, however all our correspondence with Vishal Kulria was very professional and detailed and the KnT website was awesome. But being able to meet with Vishal in Christchurch to discuss our trip was invaluable, we became infected with his passion and enthusiasm for his beloved India. We signed up immediately and it was a great decision. Both Vishal and his partner Shiv we very attentive to our requirements and very helpful with suggestions to make the most our our long awaited trip. Once in India we were very well taken care off, our driver was excellent, Vishal helped us with bartering when shopping (many local guides take commission), we never had to think about where we were going to eat we just had to decide what we felt like, street food - restaurant - local specialties, Vishal had heaps of suggestions. Also the hotel suggestions made by KnT were great and we experienced some exceptional resort stays, Rawla Narlai in particular. We had to remain flexible because of the children and this was not a problem for KnT if plans had to change. We wholeheartedly recommend Kiwi n Tiger for any kind of trip to India, our kids really enjoyed themselves and were treated as VIP’s as were my husband and I. India is an amazing country to travel, the culture the history (a large amount of which is crammed into Vishals head) the chaos and colour, it is all I expected and more!
