Day 1 – Fly from New Zealand/Delhi: Fly from Auckland/Christchurch/Wellington /Sydney or Melbourne airport and arrive same day in the evening. IST (Indian Standard Time) is 7 and half hours behind than New Zealand time. You’ll be received at Delhi airport by one of our representatives and transferred to your Hotel. Check in at the handpicked accommodation selected for you in the famous ‘Hauz Khas Village’ or posh areas of ‘Panchseel Enclave’ or ‘Golf Links’. The main reason to provide these accommodations over the clinical hotels is to enhance your local experience. Relax for the night and get rid of Jet lag.

Day 2 – New Delhi: Welcome to New Delhi! Reason behind Friday departure is to face much lesser traffic at Delhi roads on Saturdays & Sundays, than weekdays. Meet us at your hotel lobby at around 10 AM for briefing from your tour escort. Drive through the tree lanes of New Delhi and embassies of Chanakyapuri. A guided tour of India Gate, President’s Palace & Gurudwara Bangla Sahib will give you a good history lesson about New Delhi and its architecture & Sikhism. Join us for the lunch at one of the famous restaurants in Cannaught Place. You can finish your day here and head back to the hotel after lunch.

For those who would like to explore more can join us in a separate vehicle to proceed to ‘The Akshardham Temple’ – the largest Hindu temple in the world! ‘Akshardham’ means the divine abode of God. Witness the blend of 10,000 years old Hindu Architecture in the carvings of this temple which is decorated by Real Gold, Precious and Semi Precious Gem Stones. Understand the ancient history of India in a 10 minutes ‘Boat Ride’. Also take a better understanding of Hinduism with the help of Robotic Shows. Refresh your evening with the ‘Water Show of Akshardham. Proceed to your hotel after this.

Day 3 – Agra: After breakfast, enjoy the morning Rickshaw Ride of Old Delhi & Chandni Chowk in particular. Drive to Agra on Yamuna Expressway with the green view of agricultural farms on both sides of the road. Have a stopover at one of the road side restaurants for Masala Chai! A sunset visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World (Taj Mahal) becomes the star attraction of the day.  After a guided tour of Taj, head to the famous local gem stones & marble 

artisans to learn about the marble and gem stones carving and inlay techniques. Return to your hotel after this.

Day 4 – Jaipur: Travel to the Pink city after Breakfast in same vehicle. Have a buffet lunch at your choice at a resort right next to Abhaneri Stepwell and a Jugaad Ride from that resort to stepwell via Abhaneri Village. Proceed to Jaipur after this and Check in your boutique hotel in Jaipur and relax for the evening.

Day 5 – Jaipur: Start your day with a guided tour of local flower and vegetable market. Witness morning aarti at Govind dev Ji Temple. Take a photographic opportunity at the Palace of Winds. Enjoy a cup of coffee after this at Curious Life Cafe in C-Scheme and visit the posh area of the town in your vehicle. Take a lunch at a local restaurant or at your hotel depending on your priority. Spend your afternoon at your hotel. Have a stopover at the Lake Palace once built for the royal men for duck shooting on your way to Amber Fort for night visit.

Day 6 – Jaipur: Visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar a hub of architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II and completed in 1734. To appreciate the art of Jaipur, visit the carpets, handicrafts, block printing and Gem Stones workshops.  Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant proceed to your hotel after this. Relax at your hotel for the afternoon and join a local family for the dinner in the evening.

  • Guided tour of City Palace and Astronomical Observatory.
  • Visit local Carpet, Handicrafts, Gem Stones and Block Printing Textile industry.

Day 7 – Shekhawati: Travel to Shekhawati via Nawalgarh a 17th century town famous for it’s large portrait frescoes. Stop at ‘Roop Niwas Kothi’ a salubrious palace now turned into a heritage hotel for lunch enchanting with well laid garden and fountains. Visit the famous Bhagat Haveli, Moraka Haveli & Poddar Haveli Museum to take the first and fabulous glimpse of Shekhawati! Proceed to the fort of Mahansar after this for your stay at Mahansar Fort. Listen to the Bhopa Bhopi live music for evening drinks and dinner around the bonfire, at your hotel.

Day 8 – Shekhawati: A Fabulous Morning in the middle of Mahansar Village at your luxury Fort. Start with the specially cooked small breakfast on your demand. Start your village walk in the streets of Mahansar Village with your local guide. Start with the Golden Haveli of Mahansar famous for it’s Miniature Frescoes. Proceed to the nearby town of Ramgarh for the famous Chattris (Cenotaphs) and unique Shani Dev Temple. Come back to the fort and get prepared for a picnic lunch. Your rides to the picnic lunch spot are the Decorated Camel Carts. Enjoy your 

prearranged lunch by the small pond of the Village. Visit the local Dhanis (Small Farm Houses or Hamlet) on your way back to the fort and experience there everyday local life.

Day 9 – Shekhawati: Today we’ll leave for Mandawa, a 18th century town known for it’s exquisite havelis and the frescoes. On your way to Mandawa visit the local ‘Cow Shelter Home’. Cows having a significant value in the Hindu Culture, witness their values in Modern India and the initiatives has been taken today for the protection of cows. Also see the differences between private and the Government Primary Schools explained by your local guide.

The difference between frescoes of Mandawa is that it’s designs are relatively new to other towns of Shekhawati which shows the reflection of British era and the modernity like trains, cars and leaders of Modern India. After finishing your haveli visits proceed to  ‘Castle Mandawa‘ for lunch. Castle Mandawa was the Mandawa Fort now turned into a heritage property. Proceed back to the fort after your lunch.

Day 10 – Jodhpur: Travel to the Blue City this morning. Leaving a little early will give us a chance to see the Black Bucks very closely with an opportunity to feed them, at ‘Chappar Taal’ a Black Buck Sanctuary. You’ll also have an opportunity to see other animals and birds at this Sanctuary. Check in your hotel and relax for the evening at your luxury hotel i.e. ‘Ratan Vilas’ or ‘Ajit Bhawan’.

  • Travel to Jodhpur – The Blue City

Day 11 – Jodhpur : Visit the majestic 15th century Mehrangarh Fort and take a guided tour of famous Umaid Bhawan Palace – one of the largest private residences in the world. We’ll leave for a guided street walk of the blue houses and a guided walk of the local market known as Sardaar Market in the evening. Visit the local stores there as Jodhpur has been well known for it’s textiles, handicrafts and spices. Return to your hotel after this.

Day 12 Narlai: After breakfast, we will head to 17th century Traditional Rajasthani Village – Narlai. Visit a Bishnoi village on your way to Udaipur and spot a Black Buck. Visit the local potters and weavers to see how they make Durries (local rugs). A camel Safari can also be arranged in this village, upon request. 

Enjoy your stay at Rawla Narlai a 17th Century hunting lodge of Maharaja now turned into beautiful boutique heritage hotel or another option can be a luxury resort right next to Kumbhalgarh Fort. Walk up to Elephant rock this evening or have a village safari with the hotel staff. You’ll find people are very friendly in that village. This beautiful property also has spa and massage facility to engage you for the evening.

Day 13 Narlai: Jeep Safari for Leopard Sighting and countryside visit becomes the highlight of the day. Leopard Sighting and Countryside visit are included in your tour package price. Another activity which can be added at an extra cost is your dinner at the step well with live folk music under the shade of a thousand lamps.

Day 14 – Udaipur: Start your journey to Udaipur this afternoon. Known as the City of Lakes, Udaipur is most celebrated for the fairy-tale marble palaces that appear to rise from the waters of Lake Pichola. It’s a beautiful drive through the Aravali Hills and many marble mines. Check in at your luxury hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 15 – Udaipur: Venture into a spectacular labyrinth of courtyards within the City Palace this morning, a soaring creation of marble and granite perched on the lake’s edge. Incredible photographic opportunities abound at this palace complex, the largest in Rajasthan, which blends medieval, European, and Chinese architecture and is richly decorated with inlaid mirror-work, mosaics, and frescoes. Later, explore the narrow streets of the old city by rickshaw, and stop to photograph a local market before visiting the 17th-century Jagdish Temple, adorned with fantastic carvings. A scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola provides an opportunity to capture the luminous white marble facade of Jag Niwas, now the Taj Lake Palace, and its shimmering reflection on the water

Finish your day by ‘The Dharohar Dance Show’ at Bagore Ki Haveli Museum. Older part of the city with it’s narrow streets gives you an opportunity to enjoy the Tuk Tuk rides in Udaipur,

Visit the local artisan in Udaipur to enhance your knowledge on Miniature Painting after lunch. Udaipur is also famous for its Gold and Silver Jewelry including expensive and inexpensive designs.
